How It Works

Armi®  10 AGS10 forms strong covalent bonds (SiO2Si) with the surface of the glass when it is used on solar glass. The polymeric mesh is cross-linked with graphene nanosheets forming a strong layer of nanocomposite. Exposed hydrophobic -CH 3 groups reduce surface energy, and, thus, produce superhydrophobic, self-cleaning, and anti-soiling panels. Graphene provides antimicrobial, anti-scratch, and conductive properties.

The graphene nanosheets are then cross-linked to the polymeric matrix to form a stable network of nanocomposites through π π and hydrogen bonds.
